For over twenty years, The Trail of Painted Ponies has been more than just a collection of figurines. It has been a celebration of “Pony Expressionism”, transforming the bond between horse and artist into a truly unique art form. Today, we share some bittersweet news with our community of collectors and friends.
A Legacy in the Making
After a remarkable journey featuring 467 original figurines and more than two decades of creativity, storytelling and artistry, the creators at Enesco have announced that the brand has reached a natural conclusion to its lifecycle.
For decades, these beautifully crafted ponies have been more than collectibles. They have been expressions of imagination and heart, each one telling a story, each one connecting artists and collectors through a shared appreciation of horses, art and individuality.
From their beginnings as studio sketches on artists’ worktables, to their cherished places on the shelves in homes across the country, the Painted Ponies have built a legacy that is truly special. These pieces have elevated ceramic and resin figurines into meaningful works of art that have captured hearts nationwide.
The Final Chapter
While it is sad to see this trail come to an end, there is still time to celebrate this incredible body of work. Although no new designs will be created after this final chapter, the story doesn’t end just yet. We are pleased to share that we still have a wonderful selection of Trail of Painted Ponies pieces available in our store.
We know this news may come with a touch of sadness, but it’s also an opportunity to celebrate what made this collection so extraordinary: the artists, the craftsmanship and, most of all, the passionate community of collectors like you.
While this beloved collection is coming to a close, our store is not. We will continue to offer a wide range of other beautiful and unique product lines for you to enjoy. We remain committed to bringing you a wide variety of distinctive gifts and collectibles.
